"Burning Flames" is a historical fantasy drama directed by Zheng Weiwen ("The Untamed") and co-directed by Liu Chongchong ("Thousand Years for You"). The series is adapted from the super animation IP "Burning Flames" produced by Xuanji Technology, depicting the story of Wu Geng (played by Ren Jialun), a prince of the human race, who, after experiencing the fall of his nation and the loss of his family, becomes a slave but remains committed to his initial aspirations. He seeks revenge for his parents and his people, inherits the will of the former king, and leads his fellow human beings to liberate the three realms in a story of a war for freedom. Wu Geng, the human prince who has fallen from grace, undergoes the trials of losing his family and becoming a slave in the lowest depths of a mining camp.
