This film draws inspiration from the real-life folklore of the Three Evils of Xiangxi–the Flower-Dropping Cave Maiden. In Xiangxi's La'er Village, a maiden must be sacrificed to the mountain god every year, or the entire village will fall under a curse, plagued by strange occurrences. Guifang's daughter, Gui Tong, is unfortunately chosen by the demons. Langde and Qifeng both deeply love Gui Tong. On their wedding night, can they successfully rescue their beloved? And how will they break the curse looming over the village?
